The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has taken a major leap in India’s digital governance journey by migrating 38 key e-forms from the legacy V2 portal to the upgraded MCA21 V3 portal. Effective 14th July 2025 (12:00 AM), these forms will now be accessible only through the new V3 system. This move is a significant part of MCA’s ongoing digital transformation strategy, designed to offer faster, smarter, and more secure compliance workflows for businesses and professionals.
Why This Upgrade to MCA V3 Portal Matters
The shift from V2 to V3 isn’t just technical—it’s transformational. The MCA V3 Portal provides:
- A modern user interface with enhanced navigation
- Improved data accuracy and validation mechanisms
- Faster multi-user collaboration and real-time tracking
- Seamless Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) integration
- Better compliance monitoring tools for corporates and professionals
This transformation ensures that India’s ROC filing system remains globally competitive and aligned with the needs of a growing economy.

Mandatory User Account Upgrades
All stakeholders—including company directors, CSs, and CAs—must:

- Get familiar with the new e-filing dashboard and workflow
